Red Bronzino Dress
My name is
Alaina Blackram. As a present to myself for finishing my MBA, I purchased
silk velvet to make a new dress for St. Valentines Day Massacre 2002. I
wanted to recreate the dress in the portrait of the Lady with the Puppy by
Bronzino. Unfortunately by the time we got to take photos, one of the sleeves
has popped a few of the gathering stitches in the washer and I noticed as I
was looking at the photos before posting. :( Please notice that my right
sleeve is the way it is supposed to be.

This dress is
featured in October 2003 Realm of Venus Italian Showcase.
It took 3rd place, copper rose, overall for the years showcase.
